Lead the financial governance and compliance of key US and Canadian legal entities, playing a critical role in ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and business performance across a global life sciences organization.
The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between [$132,000-$186,900]. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.
What you will do:
- Oversee accurate and timely financial close processes, including Balance Sheet and P&L reviews, in collaboration with Regional Controlling and Shared Service teams
- Ensure compliance with US and Canadian GAAP standards, managing complex and non-routine accounting transactions
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors and take ownership of statutory and regulatory filings across entities
- Partner with Group Tax and Treasury teams to ensure tax, transfer pricing, liquidity, and capital management compliance
- Lead and enhance the Internal Control System (ICS), ensuring strong governance and achievement of corporate compliance KPIs
- Drive process improvements, including automation, standardization, and Shared Service Center development
- Support strategic finance initiatives and, where applicable, mentor and develop team members
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in finance within an international, global operating environment
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, US GAAP, and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and tax coordination
- Advanced SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities, with experience coaching or mentoring others
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA required; Master’s degree preferred)
- Requires onsite presence at our Morristown, NJ office three days per week
- Includes required domestic travel (minimum level)
