Core Technician

Join our Production Support team in Houston, TX, where you will play a key role in manufacturing life-saving sterile biological pharmaceutical products within a state-of-the-art cGMP cleanroom environment. This night-shift opportunity offers a rewarding path to develop your biotechnology career with a global industry leader.

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with the manufacturing of sterile biological pharmaceutical products following strict cGMP regulations and SOPs.

  • Execute daily operations in a controlled cleanroom environment, maintaining full aseptic gowning standards (scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots, and double gloves).

  • Adhere strictly to all site safety policies and rules, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for yourself and your team.

  • Maintain quality documentation and recognize, report, and address deviations from accepted standard practices.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster a positive, supportive work climate through active communication and coaching.

  • Effectively prioritize daily operational tasks, manage competing deliverables, and drive progress toward production timelines.

What we are looking for:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences preferred).

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

  • Prior laboratory experience preferred (basic lab experience with a Bachelor's degree OR intermediate lab experience within a cGMP clinical production environment with a High School Diploma).

  • Availability to work Night Shift (12-hour rotating schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off).

  • Flexibility to complete initial training on 1st Shift (Day Shift, 5 days per week) for the first 4–6 weeks.

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and an eagerness to learn and grow within the life sciences industry.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-focused cleanroom setting.
