Introduction

We are looking for an experience CIM/OT Engineer (Computer Integrated Manufacturing Operational Technology) to help deliver reliable, compliant operations that enable life-changing medicines. You will be responsible in creating test plans necessary to verify software fitness for use, including commissioning and supporting of validation of control systems. You will also be involved in developing accurate time estimates for control software development tasks.

What you will do

  • Design modifications to automation systems from P&IDs, user requirements, and mechanical drawings.
  • Collaborate with the global automation team on standards, technologies, and implementations.
  • Configure, replicate, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, drives, servo, and vision systems.
  • Create and execute test plans; commission systems and support validation activities.
  • Maintain configurations, backups, documentation, and revision notes for software and hardware.
  • Communicate progress and issues; provide rotating after-hours support for operations.
  • Share knowledge and coach plant personnel in safe, compliant control practices.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with automation systems.
  • Proficiency with Siemens PLC programming (STL, SCL, FBD, LAD).
  • Understanding of SCADA, drives, servo systems, and industrial networks.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, documentation (FS/DS), and test plan development.
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
