Capex Controlling Analyst

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Capex Controlling Analyst to join our Integrated Biologics Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on capital expenditures across the Business Platform, ensuring alignment with budgetary and strategic goals. You will also be focusing on financial modeling and analyses for organic growth projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations that drive sound financial decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Capex reports, including variance analyses against budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and presentations for leadership and investment committees.
  • Support Site Finance and End-to-End project leads with Capex approval requests, ensuring adherence to Group standards
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure Capex activities are accurately planned, tracked, and reported.
  • Track and report capital expenditures (Capex) related to asset maintenance and base business projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant accounting standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong financial modeling skills, with excellent proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of Capex processes and investment appraisal.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
