Manage critical direct procurement operations to supply life-saving single-use filters and production materials for our biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Portsmouth, NH.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Drive direct procurement operations managing ~500 SKUs across 15–20 suppliers with an annual spend of approximately $15M.

  • Partner closely with internal Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless material availability for biopharmaceutical production.

  • Process and resolve Vendor Complaints, Vendor Change Notifications (VCNs), and manage supplier quality matters.

  • Utilize SAP/MRP systems to oversee stock levels, place purchase orders, and monitor material supply chain info.

  • Handle raw material returns, recalls, and supply continuity risk mitigation.

  • Contribute to vendor performance reviews and maintain high standards of procurement quality systems compliance.


What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in Direct Procurement, ideally within a cGMP / GxP biopharmaceutical or life sciences environment.

  • Strong familiarity with Procurement Quality Systems and managing vendor quality issues (VCNs, complaints).

  • Practical experience with SAP MRP or similar enterprise MRP systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-SKU portfolios and maintain vendor relationships.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, supply chain, or scientific field, or equivalent experience.
