Business Development Manager, Pharma & Biotech (Small Molecules)

Lonza is hiring an experienced and specialised sales and business development manager who will grow and expand our Korea and Australia markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• To identify, establish the relationship and generate businesses with new customers in Asia Pacific (focusing on Korea and Australia at the moment)
• To maintain the on-going businesses and find further business growth with the existing customers.
• To grow the sales revenue and keep the expected profitability with Lonza’s CMO (Contract Manufacturing) business for Small Molecule and Oral Drug Products.
• To establish and maintain good relationship with customers for Small Molecule Drug Substance and Oral Drug Products area.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of B2B Sales experience (preferably contract manufacturing, research or service, ideally in pharmaceutical industry), with Chemical/Biology background
• Strong communication and negotiation capability to understand customer’s needs, with a persistency to close the deal
• Effectively bilingual in English and Korean, to be successful in conducting business in the relevant markets
