We seek an Automation Engineer to support us from the start of the Greenfield project through to the operation of a pharmaceutical production facility! Ensure quality and safety of the HVAC and Utility systems controlled by a Process Control System as well as foster reliable operation and approval by the authorities for pharmaceutical production. What you’ll do
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in Distributed Control Systems used within the industrial process automation and the according interfacing technologies such as OPC-UA for the vertical integration into MES or process historian systems.
  • Take responsibility as a system owner, ensuring the availability and cost-optimized operational engineering.
  • Lead troubleshooting and perform technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
  • Carry out all activities necessary to maintain complete and up-to-date system documentation and qualification status.
  • Perform problem-solving efforts and conduct technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and automation systems including coordination and collaboration with major package unit suppliers.
  • Handle deviations and changes across your entire area of responsibility, ensuring smooth operation of production.

What we’re looking for:
  • A degree in Automation- / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with Distributed Control Systems (Preferably Emerson DeltaV)
  • Experience working in GMP environments or other rigorously regulated settings is highly preferred.
  • Enjoyment of a dynamic work environment and collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in English is required, and German skills are a strong advantage.
