Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Shape the customer journey: From first engagement to signed program, ensure a seamless and value-driven experience.
This is a remote role allowing you to work flexibly from any location.
The role involves approximately 30-40% travel within Europe.
What we’re looking for:
Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, with a focus on Biology, Biochemistry, or a related technical field.
A proven track record in Business Development (true hunter mindset and team player), ideally within biologics and/or CDMO environments and ideally 5-10 years sales experience.
Preferably knowledge of the UK market.
Successful history of delivering annual business targets for complex high-value deals.
Technical understanding of drug substance and drug product manufacturing processes.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives and having the ability to deliver the right value propositions.
Deep knowledge of the drug development and commercialization process from pre-clinical to clinical phases.
