As Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President, Global Quality, you will be an enabler of the organization’s success, acting as a trusted partner. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas, energy, and leadership to the table, helping to shape the future of Quality at Lonza. Your role will require the utmost professionalism and discretion, supporting the seamless execution of critical priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted partner to the SVP and Leadership Team, handling matters of a highly confidential and critical nature with tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment.

  • Prepare, organize, and participate in Leadership Team meetings, ensuring accurate minutes, actionable outcomes, and follow-through on key initiatives.

  • Serve as a gatekeeper and ambassador for the SVP, managing communications, visitors, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Coordinate complex business travel arrangements, and manage expense tracking and invoice processing.

  • Plan and execute impactful Leadership Team events that foster collaboration and innovation.

  • Support special projects and compile comprehensive reports, contributing insights and recommendations.

  • Drive onboarding processes for the Quality Organization, ensuring a seamless experience for new team members.

  • Take ownership of operational processes as Key Requisitioner and Timekeeper for the Quality Organization in Basel.

  • Leverage independent judgment to proactively solve challenges and enhance organizational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A-level/high school diploma or commercial/business administration apprenticeship.

  • Proficiency in English and German (both written and spoken).

  • Proven experience in supporting senior executives, ideally within a large and complex matrix organization.

  • Experience with tools such as SAP and Concur is preferred.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust and relationships at all levels.
