Location: San José, Costa Rica

What you will do

  • Lead the global strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement initiatives for the SLM (ORO) application, enhancing efficiency, automation, and scalability.

  • Govern the end‑to‑end change lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, risk management, release planning, and deployment.

  • Oversee global operations, system administration, access control, and 3rd‑level user support to ensure stable and compliant application performance.

  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure high‑quality service delivery and SLA adherence.

  • Drive data quality standards, controls, audit readiness, and compliance across supplier and financial data.

  • Lead training, documentation development, and user enablement to support global adoption and consistent best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, Compliance, and global stakeholders to harmonize processes and drive innovation.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred but not required.  

  • Proficient years of progressive experience in application management, supplier lifecycle management, procurement systems, or enterprise platforms.

  • Proven experience as a global application owner, product manager, or similar role with strong system administration and operational support capabilities.

  • Strong background in managing change, releases, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional stakeholder collaboration in matrixed environments.

  • Knowledge of data migration, data quality management, financial data controls, backups, and business continuity concepts.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex changes to diverse audiences.

  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, or Prosci are an advantage.
