Accounts Payable Automation Specialist
Location: Manchester

Role Purpose:


The role of the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. Their role is to assist managing the incoming invoices system, managing the day-to-day management of all AP activities within their area in a timely and efficient manner.




Key responsibilities:

  • Timely answering queries on the Invoicetrack system;
  • Manage access to IVT system.
  • Timely and accurate answering of Accounts Payable-related queries;
  • Assisting the team lead in achieving the target automation percentage;
  • Establish effective working relationships with both internal departments and vendors;
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices;
  • Work with team leader/OE on process improvements
  • Collaborate with colleagues from NOAM and APAC with the same role

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in AP processes.
  • Strong understanding of AP automation tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP)
  • Experience in supporting or leading AP automation projects, including testing and deployment
  • Experience with lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus (Lean, Six Sigma)
